Steps
Remove the Concord grapes from the stems and wash them thoroughly under running water. Place the grapes on a cloth and dry them with paper towels. Pour the grapes into a glass jar with a hermetic seal and crush them to break them. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves, pour in the alcohol and half the sugar. Close the lid and shake the jar so that the sugar dissolves. Place the jar in a cool, dark place and let it macerate for 30 days, shaking it occasionally.
After the month, prepare the syrup by boiling the remaining sugar with water and letting it cool. Pour the jar’s contents into a potato masher positioned over a pot or a bowl. Remove the cinnamon stick and press well by moving the contents around with a spoon several times. Strain the liquid again with a fine mesh strainer and pour the syrup into a jug. Stir and with the help of a funnel, pour the liqueur into washed, dried bottles that have been wiped internally (including caps) with liquor alcohol. Store the bottles in a pantry and leave to rest for 20 days before serving.
