Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Kamut® flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (cane sugar)
- 1 egg (medium)
- 2 tsps instant coffee
- 2 tsps milk
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 pinch fine salt

Steps
In a small cup, dissolve the coffee in the warmed milk. Pour the sifted flour, cane sugar, softened butter, whole egg, a pinch of salt, and the dissolved coffee into a bowl. Mix all the ingredients with the help of a spoon and then with your hands.
Place the dough on the pastry board and quickly form a loaf with cold hands. Wrap it with plastic wrap or parchment paper and let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour to firm up. After the time has passed, you can use the Kamut and Coffee Shortcrust Pastry to prepare tarts or delicious cookies decorated with chocolate coffee beans. This amount will be enough for a 10-inch round pan.
