The homemade Licorice Cream Liqueur is easy to make. Just a few ingredients are needed to get an after-dinner drink with a pleasant taste. Milk, cream, alcohol for liqueurs, sugar, and the most important thing… licorice powder. You can find it in herbalist shops and often at fair stalls along with spices. Great as a digestif, but be careful because licorice cream liqueur is not suitable for those with high blood pressure. Follow all the instructions and it will be a success!

Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 3/4 cup Fresh heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar (fine)
- 2.82 oz Licorice powder
- 5 oz Pure alcohol (96% vol.)
Tools
- Kitchen Scale
- Pot
- Whisk
Steps
Pour the milk and cream into a pot. As soon as it starts to boil, turn off and add the sugar and licorice powder well mixed and without lumps.
Stir and put back on the stove. Before it starts boiling again, turn off and let it cool. Add the alcohol and stir. Pour the cream liqueur into clean bottles (for cleaning, I pour a few drops of alcohol, shake, and drain). Store in the refrigerator and wait a week before serving this delicious cream.
