Steps

  • Use the meat tenderizer to pound the slices flat. Align them on the cutting board, rub them with the garlic clove, and salt them. Place a slice of lard, ham, fontina, raisins, and pine nuts on each. Roll up the slices and secure the rolls with kitchen twine or a toothpick. In a pot, sauté chopped onion, carrot, and celery in the olive oil.
