Ingredients

- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp water

Steps
Wash the oranges and boil them for 2 minutes to remove any impurities. Cut the oranges into pieces leaving the peel and put them in a pan with sugar and water.
Let it cook on low heat for 30 minutes, turning off the heat when there is no more liquid. Pour into a bowl and with the immersion blender, chop coarsely or if you prefer, you can reduce it to a cream. The orange paste is ready to be used.
Storage
The Homemade Orange Paste has different storage times depending on the method chosen and the quantity of sugar used. It keeps for about 1-2 weeks if placed in an airtight container or tightly closed jars in the refrigerator. In the freezer, it can be stored for 6 months in small single-portion containers.
