Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz apples (net weight)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs (medium)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5.6 oz butter (or 5.3 oz vegetable oil)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • lemon juice

Preparation

  • If you use butter, melt it in a saucepan and let it cool.

    Wash the apples, remove the core, and cut them into small pieces. If you have untreated apples, you can leave the peel on, otherwise remove it as I did.

    Put the apples in the mixer (1), add a few drops of lemon juice, the melted butter (or vegetable oil), and blend until you get a puree (2).

  • With the help of a hand mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of cinnamon until fluffy and light.

    Add the apple puree, and blend to combine.

  • Then, gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder, and mix them in without creating lumps.

    Now take the pan and grease it well with a release agent, or with butter and flour.

  • Pour the batter into it and spread it well (3).

    Put the cake in a static oven at 347°F and bake for 35-40 minutes (4). Times vary based on your oven and the shape of the pan, so always check doneness by inserting a toothpick.

  • Once done, let the bundt cake cool and invert it onto a plate. If desired, you can sprinkle it with a little powdered sugar.

    The apple bread cake is ready, very soft and fragrant, perfect for any occasion.
