Notes and Variations
For the filling, you can use white, whole grain bread, sandwich bread, or leftover bread from home. You can enhance the flavor with parmesan, pecorino, salted ricotta, or any other cheese you like.
You can scent with the aromatic herbs you prefer, and add a pinch of chili pepper.
