Ingredients

  • 2 sausages
  • 1 slice white bread
  • to taste breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch paprika (to taste)
  • parsley
  • 1 sprig rosemary (or thyme)
  • 1 glass light beer
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Tools

  • Pan
  • Bowl
  • Chopper

Preparation

  • Peel the sausages and crumble them into a bowl.

Using a small chopper, finely chop the bread with a sprig of parsley.

  • Add the chopped mixture to the sausage, also add the beaten egg, a pinch of paprika, and a little salt.

Mix everything together, adding 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, depending on the consistency of the mixture (1).

  • With the palms of your hands, form meatballs and coat them with a little breadcrumbs (2).

I made them very small (I got 25), but if you prefer, you can make them larger and flatten them slightly.

  • Heat a pan with a drizzle of oil and a sprig of rosemary, add the meatballs and brown them for a couple of minutes (3).

Pour in the beer and finish cooking over medium heat. If the sauce dries out too much, add a little hot water or broth.

  • The beer sausage meatballs are ready, serve them hot, drizzled with the cooking sauce… enjoy your meal!
