Tips and Notes

You can use dark chocolate more or less bitter, depending on your taste… I usually use 70% cocoa.

You can use Greek yogurt with 2% or 5% fat.

You can replace vegetable oil with melted butter (65 g).

You can omit the chocolate chips if you don’t have them.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • What are the amounts for a large cake pan?

For a 9-10 inch cake pan, double all amounts. For a 22 cm pan, increase them by 50%.

  • Can I use regular plain yogurt?

I do not recommend it because it has a different consistency. You can replace Greek yogurt with creamy ricotta.
