Ingredients
- 5.6 oz ladyfingers
- 1 cup coffee
- 8.8 oz mascarpone
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate
- 8.8 oz heavy cream
- 2.1 oz vanilla powdered sugar
- unsweetened cocoa powder (or chopped chocolate, for decoration)
Tools
- Baking dish
- Mixer
- 2 Bowls
- Small pot
- Coffee machine
Preparation
Prepare the coffee and let it cool. I didn’t add sugar, but you can sweeten it if you like.
Place the chocolate pieces in a bowl and melt it in a bain-marie, placing it over a pot with a bit of water.
Once melted, allow it to cool to room temperature.
In another bowl, mix the mascarpone and powdered sugar, add the chocolate and stir (1).
Using the mixer, whip the cream until fluffy and firm. Add it to the mixture and incorporate it with upward movements (2).
Wet about half of the ladyfingers in the coffee and place them at the bottom of a baking dish.
Cover with half of the mascarpone cream and level.
Form a second layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers (3), then cover with the remaining cream, leveling with a spatula.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least one or two hours.
When serving, sprinkle the surface with cocoa powder, or with chopped dark chocolate, as I did.
The chocolate tiramisu is ready, a very delicious dessert, perfect at the end of a meal.
Tips and Variations
You can make the dessert in single-serving cups.
