Tips and Variations
The hazelnut cream filling is optional. If you prefer, you can directly distribute all the dough in the cake pan and proceed with baking.
You can slightly reduce the amount of sugar to 60 g of granulated + 60 g of brown sugar.
It is advisable to keep the chocolate chips in the freezer for a few minutes before using them, so they stay more intact after baking.
You can omit the hazelnuts, or replace them with almonds.
