Tips and Variations
You can omit the limoncello, or replace it with orange liqueur.
You can decorate the surface as you like, by adding a sprinkle of shredded coconut, chocolate shavings, almond or hazelnut pieces instead of pistachios.
Do not soak the ladyfingers too much, the strawberry pieces will release more liquid over time.
To whip well, the cream should be very cold, as should the beaters and bowl you use. I recommend placing everything in the freezer for about ten minutes before starting.
You can make the dessert in individual cups.
