Tips and Variations
You can use either fresh shrimp or defrosted shrimp tails. If you have the heads, you can prepare a stock to use to flavor the pasta while you sauté it.
If you don’t have basil, you can substitute it with parsley or other herbs.
In addition to trofie, you can use other types of semolina pasta.
