Baked Turkey Cutlets with Peppers

Delicious and very tender baked turkey cutlets with peppers, with a light and quick breading without eggs, and with the baking even lighter, ready in a flash, you can have them out of the oven in 10 minutes, with a delicate and fragrant breading, that smells good, making you want to prepare them often. Eating turkey meat is preferable to other meats, as it’s lean and easy to digest, suitable for both children and the elderly, and not only them. I especially love the turkey breast, using it to prepare stuffed rolls or turkey roasts, which are really delicious, although all parts of turkey are good. Sometimes I also buy the leg and cook it slowly, like the oven-baked turkey osso buco, which are excellent.

Steps for Preparing Quick and Light Baked Turkey Cutlets with Peppers and Eggless Breading

  • 1. Gently pound the turkey breast slices, one at a time. If you’re afraid of breaking them, you can place the meat between 2 sheets of baking paper and gently pound them that way.

  • 2. Massage the turkey slices with oil, salt, and black pepper.

  • 3. Coat each slice with breadcrumbs.

  • 4. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, place the slices of meat on top, leaving some space around each.

  • 5. Wash, core, and slice the peppers. I chose yellow peppers as they are the easiest to digest.

  • 6. Distribute the peppers on the baking tray, and season with salt and olive oil, just the peppers, and a little oil on the meat too.

  • 7. Add thyme and rosemary, and we’re ready to bake.

  • 8. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 10 minutes. Take out and enjoy.
