Steps to Prepare Parmesan Fondue with Only 2 Ingredients
In a small pot, put the cream and parmesan. It’s better to use a non-stick pot or a pot with a thick bottom to avoid burning our cheese sauce.
On low heat, let the cream warm up without bringing it to a boil and let the parmesan melt in the cream, forming a smooth and velvety cream without lumps.
Stir with a wooden or silicone spoon until the parmesan fondue is perfectly smooth and homogeneous. Turn off the heat at that point.
If you like, add freshly ground black pepper, but it’s not essential. Stir and serve the fondue still hot. The sauce should be served while still hot, while it’s fluid, otherwise, it becomes a solid cream when cold. Generally, fondue is served with a fondue server, a container with a candle underneath to keep it warm.
