The apple brownies are lactose-free treats with an autumn fragrance. I made these brownies inspired by the spicy taste of apple pie: a mixture of flour, eggs, and sugar, flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg, to which I added diced apples. I then enriched the surface with nuts and baked. In just a few minutes, and with simplicity, you’ll have a delicate apple dessert with a soft texture, ideal for breakfast.

- Cooking methods: Oven
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup sunflower oil (or 7 tbsp lactose-free butter)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 apples
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts
Tools
- Baking Pan
Steps
To make the apple brownies, in a bowl beat the eggs with sugar and honey.
Peel the apples, remove the cores, and dice them, then incorporate them into the mixture.
Then add the oil and vanilla extract, stirring continuously. Finally, add the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until a smooth mixture is achieved.
Pour the mixture into a baking pan (8×8 inches) lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle a mix of nuts on the surface.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes, use a toothpick to check the baking; it should come out with a few crumbs. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool.
Cut into 9 pieces and enjoy the brownies. Enjoy!
