Bacio Flavored Ice Cream – Egg-Free and No Ice Cream Maker

The bacio flavored ice cream is a fresh and tasty dessert made without eggs and without an ice cream maker. For this recipe, I toasted the hazelnuts, then blended them with cocoa. Separately, I whipped the cream, then added the condensed milk and the hazelnut & cocoa mixture. Finally, I garnished the ice cream with hazelnuts and dark chocolate, just like in an ice cream shop! The result was exceptional, and one serving will hardly be enough for you!

Bacio Flavored Ice Cream
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup condensed milk
  • to taste hazelnuts
  • 2 oz dark chocolate

  • Beater
  • Blender

Steps

  • To make the bacio flavored ice cream, place the hazelnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and toast them at 356°F for 8 minutes. Or in an air fryer at 356°F for 5 minutes.

  • Remove the toasted hazelnuts, let them cool slightly, then peel them and place them in the bowl of a food processor.

  • Add the cocoa and blend until creamy. This will take about 10 minutes, depending on the power of the mixer.

  • To avoid overloading the mixer, if it heats up, take small breaks or pulse the blades intermittently.

  • With a beater or stand mixer, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Add the condensed milk and the hazelnut cream and mix the ingredients, continuing to blend with the electric beaters or stand mixer, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  • Transfer the mixture into a container, garnish with hazelnuts and melted dark chocolate.

  • Cover with a lid or plastic wrap, place in the freezer to rest for 3 hours.

  • Serve the ice cream as needed. Enjoy!
