Baked Salmon with Potatoes

Baked salmon with potatoes is an irresistible fish main course cooked in the oven. For this recipe, I used fresh salmon steaks that I first marinated with lemon juice, then baked them with potatoes and some breadcrumbs. The result was satisfying: a perfect gratin and a dish worth licking your lips over!

Baked Salmon with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 9 oz salmon steak
  • lemon juice
  • 2 potatoes (large)
  • 1.8 oz gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 sprig dried oregano
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Preparation

  • To make the baked salmon with potatoes, cut the salmon into steaks, check for bones with your fingers, and remove them using tweezers.

  • Marinate the salmon with the juice of one lemon for about 30 minutes.

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

  • Place the salmon steaks and potato slices. Add salt and cover with breadcrumbs.

  • Drizzle everything with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and rosemary.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 20 minutes, or until fully cooked and golden brown.

  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
