Christmas Appetizers: 10 delicious, easy and quick recipes
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 3 servings
Ingredients
- 9 breadsticks
- 1 bunch lettuce
- 2 slices mortadella
- 2 slices prosciutto crudo
- 3 slices salami
- 3 slices pork coppa
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste soft spreadable cheese
Steps
To make the breadstick box with cold cuts, wash and prepare the lettuce, then in a bowl season it with a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt.
With the coppa, salami, and pork coppa, create roses. Take each slice, fold it in half, then fold it in half again, and finally roll it up on itself. To hold the roses firmly in place, secure them with a toothpick.
Roll the prosciutto slices on themselves to create roses.
Create the breadstick box: on a serving plate, place two breadsticks vertically, then place two breadsticks cut in half horizontally and parallel at both ends. Stack two more breadsticks vertically and proceed in the same way to create a second rectangle that you will stack on top of the first.
To hold the breadsticks firmly in place, I recommend putting some spreadable cheese at the ends.
Place the lettuce inside the box and arrange the cold cut roses. The box is ready to be served. Enjoy!
