Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 3.5 oz Butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 envelope Baking powder
- 1 1/4 cups Milk
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract (or zest of half a lemon)
- 2.65 oz mixed dried fruits (almonds with skin, hazelnuts, walnuts, and raisins)

Preparation
To make the cake with dried fruits, first prepare the custard cream: for the procedure click HERE. Let the cream rest in a bowl covered with plastic wrap in contact with the surface.
Proceed to prepare the cake: in a bowl, combine the butter with the sugar and egg. Then add the flour and baking powder and mix well until it becomes a crumbly dough.
Take a 9.45-inch springform pan lined with parchment paper and pour half of the dough. Fill with the custard cream and pour the other half of the dough.
Spread the mixed dried fruits over the cake surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!
