The chocolate and pistachio cake is a delicious dessert with a soft and tasty center. This cake is prepared very quickly and with few ingredients.
I cooked the cake in the air fryer because it requires just a few minutes of cooking, but alternatively, you can bake it in the oven. In a few minutes, you will get a lactose-free chocolate cake, with a soft center filled with pistachio spread (obviously lactose-free for intolerant people).

Mother’s Day – 10 Sweet and Savory Recipes
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 3 People
- Cooking methods: Air Frying, Oven
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons pistachio spread (lactose-free for intolerants)
- to taste powdered sugar
Tools
- 1 Air Fryer
- 3 Baking Cups
Steps
To make the chocolate and pistachio cake, use a sheet of parchment paper to make three mounds of pistachio spread using teaspoons. Place in the freezer to firm up.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Then add the vanilla extract, continuing to beat.
Also add the unsweetened cocoa powder and finally the flour, stirring until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Slightly grease the inside of the baking cups and dust with unsweetened cocoa powder.
Pour the mixture prepared earlier into the baking cups and insert the firmed pistachio spread inside.
Preheat the air fryer to 392°F (200°C) for a couple of minutes, then place the three cakes inside the basket and cook at 392°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
For those who do not have a hot air fryer. Bake in a preheated oven (I use convection) at 356°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.
Once the cakes are ready, turn them upside down onto a plate and remove the baking cup.
Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar, Enjoy!
