Ingredients
- 14 oz Dark chocolate (or milk)
- 3 cups Puffed rice
- 7 oz White chocolate
Preparation
To make the chocolate and puffed rice bars, melt the dark (or milk) chocolate in a double boiler. Line a rectangular (or square) container with parchment paper and pour half of the chocolate on the base and sides. Refrigerate to set.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler, then add the puffed rice, using a spatula to mix and coat the rice evenly with chocolate.
Remove the container from the fridge and pour in the puffed rice mixture, leveling it well with a spatula. Use a knife to make rectangular cuts to form the bars.
Cover everything with the remaining melted dark chocolate, retrace the created rectangles, and refrigerate for one hour.
After the time has passed, turn the mixture over onto a work surface, remove the parchment paper, and separate the bars.
The chocolate and cereal bars can be stored in the fridge for several days. Enjoy!
