Chocolate Bars with Wafer and Hazelnuts

The chocolate bars with wafer and hazelnuts are irresistible treats made with four ingredients: wafers, hazelnut spread, milk chocolate, and hazelnut crumbs. They are very simple to make! Various resting phases in the freezer and refrigerator are required, but the wait will be rewarded by their irresistible taste. My advice is to double the doses because they will fly off the shelves!

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz Hazelnut Wafer
  • 3.5 tbsp Hazelnut Spread
  • 7 oz Milk Chocolate
  • to taste Hazelnut Crumbs

Preparation

  • To make the chocolate bars with wafer and hazelnuts, put the broken wafers in the blender bowl. Blend until you get a sand-like mixture.

  • Pour the wafers into a glass bowl and add the hazelnut spread. Mix with a spoon to combine the ingredients until you get a compact mixture.

  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Then, with your hands, take a bit of the mixture and start forming mini sticks about 1.5 inches long. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper. Once the mixture is finished, let them rest in the freezer for at least an hour.

  • Meanwhile, melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie and then add the hazelnut crumbs.

  • Once the sticks have solidified, dip them in the chocolate. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and let them rest for an hour in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
