  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 3People

Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz Milk chocolate
  • 0.5 oz White chocolate
  • 0.4 cup Fresh liquid cream
  • 3.5 oz Hazelnut cream
  • to taste Caramelized dried fruits
  • to taste Colored balls
  • to taste Colored stars

Tools

  • 6 Molds

Preparation

  • To make the Chocolate Christmas Tree with dried fruits, melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler. On a tray lined with parchment paper, place six round molds of different sizes; pour the melted chocolate inside them, trying to make discs of the same thickness (you can help yourself with a toothpick by dipping it in the chocolate).

  • Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler as well. On the same tray, where the milk chocolate discs were previously formed, also place a star-shaped mold and pour the melted white chocolate inside. Put the tray in the fridge for 15 minutes to let the chocolate set.

  • Whip the cream until stiff and fold in the hazelnut cream, stirring with an upward motion. Then transfer the cream to a piping bag with a star nozzle.

  • Gently remove the molds from the chocolate to avoid breaking the discs and star. Take the largest disc and place it on a small plate and form a layer of cream. Proceed in this way with all the other discs, placing them based on diameter: from the largest to the smallest. Finish with the cream.

  • Decorate the edges of the tree with caramelized dried fruits, colored balls, and colored stars. Place the white chocolate star on the top of the tree.
