Christmas Sandwich House

The Christmas sandwich house is a rich and beautiful idea to create for the holidays. After making the sweet panettone house, I thought of making a savory version. With a scenic appearance, with this sandwich house you will offer an appetizer (or aperitif) that will amaze your guests.

  • On a cutting board, place the rectangular sandwiches on top of each other, with the long side facing you. Then cover everything with spreadable cheese.

  • Place the triangular sandwiches on top to create the roof, and also cover them with spreadable cheese.

  • Cover the roof with rows of salami slices, decorate the roof peak and the sides of the house with long pretzels.

  • Unleash your creativity! With the red currants, you can make Christmas lights, with the rice snack a window on the roof, with the halved olive the windows, and with other pretzels you can make the door.

  • With two small mozzarella balls stacked on a toothpick and some rosemary, you can make a snowman. With puffed rice, you can make some pebbles.

  • Sprinkle the roof with grated pecorino cheese to give the snow effect. Enjoy!
