The cup with yogurt cream and spiced apples is a spoon dessert that smells like autumn. These cool days, the end of summer, the looming autumn which is my favorite season: these are the reasons that led me to make this dessert. With the first apples of the season that are starting to appear, making this cup is very simple: I alternated layers of yogurt cream with layers of walnuts and spiced apples. The apples are cooked in a pan with spices and lemon, and they will perfume the whole kitchen!

- 2 tablespoons Water
- 140 g Plain yogurt
- 20 g Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method
To make the cup with yogurt cream and spiced apples, wash the apples, remove the core, and cut them into cubes. In a pan, add the apples along with the brown sugar and the rest of the ingredients.
Bring to a boil over low heat, then cook for another 10 minutes. The apples should be soft. Remove from the heat and let cool.
In a bowl, cream the yogurt with the powdered sugar. Add the cinnamon and vanilla extract and mix to incorporate the ingredients.
Whip the cream and fold it into the yogurt. Mix with a spatula using a folding motion.
Transfer the cream into a piping bag. Roughly chop the walnuts.
Once the apples are cooled, proceed to assemble the cups. Inside the cups, create a layer of yogurt cream, a layer of walnuts, and a layer of spiced apples.
Continue until all ingredients are used up, ending with apples and walnuts. Let rest in the fridge for a couple of hours. Enjoy!
Note: the cups can be stored in the fridge for two days.
