The nest cupcake is a soft cocoa treat filled with a chocolate egg and decorated to resemble a nest with eggs. For this recipe, I made cocoa cupcakes, placed a chocolate egg in the center of each, and baked them. I decorated with whipped cream mixed with hazelnut spread, chocolate sprinkles, and colored eggs. Perfect for Easter or spring days, these cupcakes will make both adults and children happy!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sunflower oil
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 8 milk chocolate eggs
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tbsp hazelnut spread
- as needed chocolate sprinkles
- 16 colored eggs
Tools
- 1 Muffin Tin
- 8 Cupcake Liners
- 1 Piping Bag
Steps
To make the nest cupcake, beat the eggs with sugar until creamy. Add the vanilla extract and sunflower oil, and mix well.
Add the flour and baking powder, mix until smooth and uniform. Finally, add the unsweetened cocoa and blend until smooth and shiny.
Take a cupcake pan with liners and fill them up to three-quarters. Place a chocolate egg in the center of each cupcake.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 15 minutes. Once baked, leave them in the turned-off oven for 5 minutes with the door open. Then remove them from the oven and let them cool.
Whip the cream until stiff and fold in the hazelnut spread, blending with a spatula in a downward motion.
Transfer the cream to a piping bag with a star nozzle, fill the cupcakes, leaving a hole in the center to create a nest shape.
Dip the cupcakes upside down into the chocolate sprinkles and decorate with two colored eggs in the center. Enjoy!
