Octopus Sandwich
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 2People
  • Cooking methods: Stove

Ingredients

  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 7 oz octopus (tentacles already boiled)
  • 10.5 oz chicory
  • 4.2 oz burrata stracciatella
  • 6 sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To make the octopus sandwich, clean and cut the chicory and cook it in plenty of boiling salted water. Once ready, drain in a colander.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and half a clove of garlic. Heat over low flame and lightly brown the garlic.

  • Add the chicory and sauté in the pan for a few minutes. Salt to taste and remove the garlic.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and half a clove of garlic (if you like, you can slice it thinly with some chopped chili). Place the pan over high heat.

  • Then brown the octopus tentacles on all sides, being careful not to burn yourself and not to burn it.

  • Cut the buns in half and toast them on a hot grill. Then fill the buns starting from the bottom: place the chicory, then the octopus, the stracciatella, and finally the sun-dried tomatoes.

  • Close the octopus sandwich and enjoy your meal!
