Pan-Fried Potatoes

The pan-fried potatoes are a quicker yet equally tasty alternative to oven-baked potatoes. If you’re short on time or don’t feel like turning on the oven, you can still enjoy potatoes by cooking them in a pan. In no time, you’ll have potatoes that are soft inside and crispy outside.

Pan-Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 sprig rosemary

Steps

  • To prepare pan-fried potatoes, first wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into large cubes.

  • Next, blanch the potatoes for 5 minutes in boiling water. Then, using a slotted spoon, drain the potatoes and transfer them to a bowl.

  • In a pan, pour some extra virgin olive oil and a sprig of rosemary. Heat the oil over moderate heat.

  • Add the potatoes to the pan and cook them. Occasionally, shake the pan and gently turn the potatoes over.

  • Once the potatoes are cooked, drain and serve them hot. Enjoy your meal!
