Pasta with Garlic, Oil and Italian Friggitelli Peppers

Ingredients

  • 7 oz pasta
  • 7 oz friggitelli peppers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 chili pepper
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To prepare the pasta with friggitelli, wash and clean the friggitelli, removing the stem and seeds, and cut them into quarters or strips.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of oil, the garlic, and the chopped chili, and set over low heat.

  • When the garlic is slightly golden, add the friggitelli and cook over low heat. The vegetables should wilt slightly but remain crisp.

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water; once cooked (preferably al dente), drain it and add it to the pan with the friggitelli. Cook together for a few minutes.

  • If desired, serve the pasta with garlic, oil, and friggitelli with a sprinkle of grated parmesan. Enjoy your meal!
