Pasta with Shrimp and Peas

The pasta with shrimp and peas is a first course with a rich and delicious sauce.

This recipe is very easy to make, and I recommend using fresh products to give the dish higher quality.

To make the sauce more juicy, I added a bit of tomato puree, which will perfectly bind all the ingredients.

Pasta with Shrimp and Peas
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Medium
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 2People
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop

Ingredients

  • 7 oz pasta
  • 7 oz shrimp
  • 3.5 oz peas, fresh, cooked, in a pan
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To prepare the pasta with shrimp and peas, wash the shrimp under running water. Then remove the internal intestine: make a cut along the back of the shrimp with a knife and remove it gently, trying not to break it.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, the chopped garlic, and if you like, add some fresh chopped chili pepper. Put on the heat on low and warm it up.

  • Add the tomato concentrate and the peas, cover with hot water, and cook for about ten minutes.

  • Then add the shrimp, salt, and cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes, adding a tablespoon of hot water if necessary.

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water; once cooked (preferably al dente), drain it and pour it into the pan with the sauce.

  • Mix to combine everything, serve hot, and enjoy your meal!
