Peanut and chocolate bars are delicious treats, perfect for recharging your energy mid-day. These bars feature a crunchy biscuit base, topped with caramel and peanuts, and finally coated with a milk chocolate and peanut butter. Easy to make, these bars will be appreciated by both kids and adults!

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2.8 oz brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3.4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- to taste caramel
- 1/4 cup peanuts
- 7 oz milk chocolate
- 3 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
Preparation
To make the peanut and chocolate bars, pour the egg and brown sugar into a bowl. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients until creamy.
Then add the vanilla extract, peanut butter (or almond butter) and sunflower oil. Continue mixing the ingredients.
Finally, add the baking powder and gradually the flour. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Pour the mixture into an 8×8 inch baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20-25 minutes, until golden.
Once baked, remove and let cool. Then create a layer of caramel and peanuts.
In a bowl, pour the milk chocolate along with the peanut butter (or almond butter). Melt in a double boiler and then pour it over the peanuts.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until it solidifies.
Remove from the mold and cut the bars. Enjoy!
