Peanut and chocolate bars are delightful treats, perfect for recharging your energy midday. These bars feature a crunchy cookie base, then topped with caramel and peanuts, and finally covered with a glaze of milk chocolate and peanut butter. Easy to make, these bars will be appreciated by both kids and adults!

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3/8 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- to taste caramel
- 1 oz peanuts
- 7 oz milk chocolate
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter (or almond butter)
Preparation
To make the peanut and chocolate bars, pour the egg and brown sugar into a bowl. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients until you get a creamy mixture.
Then add the vanilla extract, peanut butter (or almond butter), and sunflower oil. Continue mixing the ingredients.
Finally, add the baking powder and gradually the flour. Mix until you get a smooth dough.
Pour the dough into a 8×8 inch baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 392°F for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool. Then add a layer of caramel and peanuts.
In a bowl, pour the milk chocolate along with the peanut butter (or almond butter). Melt it in a double boiler and then pour it over the peanuts.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until it solidifies.
Remove from the mold and cut the bars. Enjoy!
