The peanut butter and chocolate granola made at home is an easy recipe perfect for breakfast or a snack for the whole family.
I made this granola using oats, which I enriched with nuts, cinnamon, and peanut butter. You can bake the granola in the oven or in an air fryer, and the chocolate should be added only at the end of cooking, to maintain its texture and flavor.
This granola is wholesome and tasty, ideal to accompany with milk and yogurt. A versatile recipe, perfect to make in advance and ready to be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 1/2 oz mixed nuts
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 3/4 oz dark chocolate

Steps
To make the peanut butter and chocolate granola, combine the peanut butter with the honey, oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
Then add the oats, mixed nuts, and cinnamon. Mix to well combine the ingredients.
Mix until you get a homogeneous mixture, ensuring all the oats are evenly coated. Add a splash of water if necessary.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the oven preheated to 300°F for 35-40 minutes, stirring gently halfway through cooking.
Or cook in an air fryer at 300°F for about 20-25 minutes, stirring and checking every 5 minutes to prevent excessive browning.
Remove from oven and let cool for 20 minutes on the baking sheet, the granola will become crispier as it rests.
Once completely cooled, add the chocolate chopped into pieces. Enjoy!

Storage
Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.
