Penne with Salmon

Penne with salmon is a delicious main course with a unique flavor. It’s very simple to make and you’ll bring an exceptional dish to the table, impressing your guests. Ideal for holiday lunches or a romantic dinner for two with your loved one.

Ingredients

  • 6.3 oz Penne Rigate
  • 3.5 oz Smoked Salmon
  • 2.1 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 0.4 cup Cooking Cream
  • 1 glass Cognac
  • 1 Onion
  • 0.7 oz Butter
  • to taste Salt

Preparation

  • To prepare the penne with salmon, melt the butter in a pan and then add the chopped onion and let it soften.

  • Cut the salmon into strips and add it to the pan with the onion, sauté for a couple of minutes. Then, add the cognac at high flame and let it evaporate.

  • Next, add the tomato sauce and cook for a few minutes until the tomato reduces. Then add salt and the cream, continue cooking until you have a creamy sauce.

  • Cook the penne in plenty of salted boiling water; once cooked (preferably al dente), drain them and add them to the pan, stir to blend them with the sauce. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
