Pesto Pasta Chips

Pesto pasta chips are tasty snacks to enjoy with friends during an aperitif. Pasta chips are among the most viral recipes on social media, and I wanted to offer a delicious alternative: seasoning the pasta with pesto. I made the pasta chips by cooking them with the air fryer, but alternatively, you can use the oven. Crunchy and tasty, these pasta chips will be appreciated by both adults and children!

Pesto Pasta Chips
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz short pasta
  • 2 tbsps basil pesto
  • 1 tbsp grated pecorino cheese

Tools

  • 1 Air Fryer

Steps

  • To make pesto pasta chips, cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water; once cooked (preferably al dente) drain and pour it into a bowl.

  • Add the pesto and pecorino to the pasta, stir with a spoon to mix the ingredients well.

  • Transfer the pasta to the hot air fryer basket and cook at 392°F for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • During cooking, shake the basket occasionally so that the pasta cooks evenly.

  • For those who do not have a hot air fryer. Cook in a preheated oven at 392°F for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Serve the pasta chips cold, they will be super crunchy. Enjoy!
