Popcorn in the air fryer is perfect for a movie night at home or a home aperitif with friends. Making popcorn in the air fryer is very simple and the use of oil is optional. It takes a bit more time than the stovetop version, but there are far fewer chances of burning the popcorn, and less oil is used!

- 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (optional)
- to taste salt

Steps
To make popcorn in the air fryer, pour the corn kernels into a bowl and add the oil. Stir with a spoon.
Preheat the air fryer to 392°F for 10 minutes.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Pour the corn into the basket and cook at 392°F for about 10 minutes.
Open the basket when the popping stops. Once ready, salt the popcorn and enjoy them warm. Enjoy!
