Savory Pie with Potatoes and Broccoli

The savory pie with potatoes and broccoli is a tasty vegetarian idea, perfect for any occasion.

To make this recipe, I used a sheet of puff pastry filled with pre-boiled and then sautéed broccoli, boiled potatoes, Parmesan, and mozzarella.

Savory Pie with Potatoes and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 5.3 oz potatoes (peeled)
  • 10.6 oz broccoli
  • 3.5 oz mozzarella
  • 2 tbsps grated Parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To make the savory pie with potatoes and broccoli, wash and clean the broccoli, then cook them in plenty of boiling water and once ready, drain them.

  • In a pan, pour a splash of extra virgin olive oil and add a clove of garlic. Heat on low flame, and when the garlic is slightly golden, add the broccoli and sauté them in the pan.

  • At the end of cooking, remove the garlic, salt the broccoli, and place them in a bowl.

  • Peel and clean the potatoes, boil them in a pot with plenty of salted water.

  • Once the potatoes are cooked, cut them into cubes and add them to the broccoli.

  • Add the Parmesan and diced mozzarella, mix to combine the ingredients.

  • Take a round baking pan and place the puff pastry, leaving the parchment paper provided.

  • Pour the potato and broccoli mixture onto the puff pastry base, fold the edges of the puff pastry inward.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Serve the savory pie warm and enjoy your meal!
