Savory Pie with Potatoes and Speck

Ingredients

  • 1 roll puff pastry (round)
  • 10.6 oz potatoes (peeled)
  • 3.5 oz speck
  • 3.5 oz mozzarella
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • to taste onion
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To make the savory pie with potatoes and speck, peel and clean the potatoes, then boil them in a pot with plenty of salted water.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, chopped onion, and rosemary. Slightly wilt the onion, then add the speck cut into strips.

  • Brown the speck in the pan, then add the boiled potatoes cut into cubes. Stir over low heat and then remove the pan from the stove.

  • Add the Parmesan and mozzarella cut into cubes, mixing to combine the ingredients.

  • Take a round cake pan and place the puff pastry, leaving the parchment paper underneath.

  • Pour the potato and speck mixture onto the puff pastry base, folding the edges of the puff pastry inward.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 20 minutes, or until golden.

  • Serve the savory pie warm and enjoy your meal!
