The water chocolate pudding is a light dessert served with a spoon, made without milk, eggs, and gluten.
To make this pudding, you need a few simple ingredients that are usually found in the kitchen pantry. You can flavor this pudding with spices; for example, I used cinnamon. Grated orange zest is also very suitable and, strictly for adults, anise or amaretto liqueur.
The only downside of this pudding is that you will have to wait a few hours before enjoying it, but you will have an irresistible dessert in your hands!

- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 2 People
- Cooking methods: Stove
Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder (or chocolate)
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch (maizena)
- to taste Ground cinnamon (or orange zest or liqueur)
- to taste Lactose-free vegetable cream (chopped nuts)
Preparation
To make the Water Chocolate Pudding, pour the water and sugar into a saucepan. Put it on the heat at a moderate flame and let the sugar dissolve.
Then add the unsweetened cocoa, stirring to avoid lumps.
When the cocoa is also dissolved, incorporate the cornstarch and ground cinnamon (or whatever you have chosen to flavor your pudding).
Bring to a boil and stir until a creamy and thick mixture is obtained. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Wet the inside of the glasses (or cups or molds) with water; or with the liqueur if it has been used to flavor the pudding.
Pour the water pudding into the two glasses and put them in the fridge for 3/4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve the puddings with whipped cream or chopped nuts. Enjoy!
