Watermelon and Feta Salad

The watermelon and feta salad enriched with olives, blueberries, and cherry tomatoes, is a tasty and fresh idea.

This salad can be prepared in a few minutes without cooking, and it’s perfect as a side dish or a main course: I served it with a flatbread.

During hot summer days, when you don’t feel like cooking, this recipe is the perfect solution: fresh, light, and tasty!

Watermelon and Feta Salad

Ingredients

  • 7 oz watermelon
  • 7 oz feta cheese
  • 3.5 oz blueberries
  • 1.75 oz black olives
  • 3.5 oz cherry tomatoes
  • to taste basil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To prepare the watermelon and feta salad, cut the watermelon by removing the rind and dicing the flesh.

  • Alternatively, you can use a melon baller to create watermelon balls for a more decorative look for the salad.

  • Dice the feta, wash, and halve the cherry tomatoes.

  • In a salad bowl, combine the watermelon, feta, blueberries, olives, and cherry tomatoes.

  • Add a few basil leaves, season with salt, and dress with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

  • Mix well to combine the ingredients and serve. Enjoy your meal!

Storage
