  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Medium
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 2People
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop

Ingredients

  • 7 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 3.5 oz shrimp
  • 3.5 oz squid
  • 2.5 oz peas, fresh, cooked, in a skillet
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To prepare the whole wheat pasta with shrimp, squid, and peas, rinse the shrimp under running water, leaving them intact without removing the shell; then remove the internal intestine: cut the back of the shrimp with a knife and remove it gently, trying not to break it.

  • Rinse the squid as well and cut into rings. Place the fish in a colander to allow it to dry slightly.

  • In a pan, brown the chopped garlic with some olive oil, the parsley (rinsed and chopped), and the fresh chili pepper, also chopped.

  • Add the tomato paste and peas, cover with hot water and cook for about ten minutes.

  • Then add the shrimp and squid, salt, and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, if necessary add a tablespoon of hot water.

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water. Once cooked, toss it with the sauce. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
