Yogurt and Coffee Cream

The yogurt and coffee cream is a fresh and tasty spoon dessert, easy and quick to make, prepared without eggs. I made a cream with coffee-flavored Greek yogurt, sugar, cream, and espresso coffee. If desired, you can flavor the coffee with some liqueur; for example, I used a coffee liqueur that will make the cream more delicious. I served the yogurt and coffee cream in cups, creating layers of cocoa granola, chocolate topping and cream.

Yogurt and Coffee Cream

Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz coffee-flavored Greek yogurt
  • 2.1 oz coffee
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 6.8 oz whipping cream
  • 1.8 oz powdered sugar
  • to taste cocoa granola
  • to taste chocolate topping

Steps

  • To prepare the yogurt and coffee cream, first make the coffee, pour it into a small bowl, and let it cool.

  • Once the coffee has cooled, if desired, add the coffee liqueur or a liqueur of your choice.

  • With the help of an electric mixer, whip the cream. Then incorporate the yogurt, still using the mixer, and finally add the sugar and cold coffee. Mix with the mixer until you get a creamy and lump-free mixture.

  • Take three glasses (or cups) and form a layer of granola and a spoon of topping at the bottom.

  • Then alternate a layer of yogurt and coffee cream, a spoon of chocolate topping, and a layer of granola.

  • Finish the dessert with the topping and some granola. Put the glasses in the fridge and let them rest for at least two hours before enjoying them. Enjoy!
