Zucchini Chips – Hot Air Fryer

The zucchini chips are a crispy and delicious snack, enriched with parmesan and oregano, cooked in a hot air fryer. These zucchini chips can be served as an appetizer or aperitif, or enjoyed as a side dish and even to fill a sandwich. However you decide to enjoy these chips, one thing is certain: they are irresistible, one leads to another!

Zucchini Chips
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 Zucchini (large)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 3/4 cup Rice flour
  • to taste Oregano
  • to taste Extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste Salt

Tools

  • Air fryer
  • Air fryer paper

Preparation

  • To make the zucchini chips, wash and trim the zucchini, removing the ends and slicing them thinly.

  • In a plate, combine the rice flour with the parmesan and add a sprinkle of oregano.

  • In a bowl, beat the egg with a pinch of salt. Dip the zucchini slices in the beaten egg and then in the flour mixture, pressing to coat them well.

  • Place the zucchini in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper (preferably perforated parchment paper specifically for air fryers).

  • Drizzle a bit of extra virgin olive oil and cook at 356°F (180°C) for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Serve the zucchini chips with a sauce of your choice. Enjoy your meal!

  • For those who do not have a hot air fryer, they can fry them or bake them in a preheated oven at 392°F (200°C) for 15/20 minutes, or until the desired doneness.
