One cup a day is enough for preventive action and to promote digestion or general well-being.

Ingredients for Preparing Lemon, Ginger, and Honey Decoction

  • 2.5 cups water
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Tools

  • 1 Peeler
  • 1 Lemon Squeezer
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Strainer

Steps for Preparing Lemon, Ginger, and Honey Decoction

To prepare the lemon, ginger, and honey decoction, start by choosing fresh organic lemons.

Then wash them thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities.

Hold the lemon firmly and run the peeler along the peel, removing only the top yellow layer.

  • Peel 2 ½ inches of ginger root and slice it thinly, then place everything in a saucepan along with the lemon peel and water.

    Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 15 minutes on low heat with the lid on.

    Meanwhile, using a juicer, squeeze the two lemons and set aside.

    Once the cooking time is up, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool with the lid on.

    When it is lukewarm, strain the decoction with a strainer and pour into a jug

  • Add the two tablespoons of honey and the strained lemon juice. Mix well until the honey is completely dissolved and
