The air fryer baked stuffed apples are really quick to prepare, ideal for when you want a wholesome and healthy dessert but have little time.

In winter, it is definitely one of my favorite snacks. Being easy to transport, I take them to the office for when I feel a bit peckish. My healthy and tasty snack that everyone envies.

The air fryer baked apples retain all their natural flavor while saving time and energy.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 60 g ricotta
  • 1/2 tablespoon erythritol or sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon
  • to taste chopped nuts

Steps for Stuffed Air Fryer Baked Apples

To prepare the stuffed air fryer baked apples, start by washing the apples under running water. Then remove the core using the apple corer and cut them in half.

  • Take 2 apples, cut the edges with a knife, and then scoop out the insides with a spoon. Chop the pulp and place it in a bowl.

  • Peel the remaining apple, cut it into pieces, and add it to the pulp of the other apples. Drizzle them with the juice of a lemon to prevent oxidation. Then cook in a 8-inch pan for 5 minutes with a drop of water, covered, stirring occasionally until they soften.

  • In a bowl, pour the ricotta, erythritol or sugar, and cinnamon

  • Add the cooked apples

  • and mix well

  • Generously stuff the apples

  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts

  • Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes in the air fryer. Check the cooking in the last few minutes.

Storage

The apple in the air fryer keeps perfectly in the fridge for 2-3 days, stored in an airtight container. Before enjoying, you can slightly warm them in the microwave or for a few minutes in the oven at 320°F: they will be as soft and fragrant as freshly made.
