  • 1/2 tsp
  • 0.5 cup flour

Tools

  • 2 Bowls
  • 1 Electric Whisk
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Pan

Steps for preparing the apple omelet

To prepare the delicious apple omelet, start by peeling the apples with a peeler and slicing them into thin wedges

  • Place them in a bowl and drizzle with the juice of half a lemon, mix and let it sit for a few minutes.

Break the eggs in another bowl and beat them with the electric whisks along with the sugar until you get a frothy mixture. Then, while mixing, add the yogurt or the same amount of milk, the flour, and half a teaspoon of baking powder

  • Finally, add the apples and mix everything well with a spatula.

  • Heat a non-stick pan, about 8 inches, with butter, and once it’s hot, pour in the mixture.

Cook over low heat with a lid for 10 minutes. Then gently flip the omelet, using a lid or a flat plate, and cook for another 5 minutes, again with the lid on and over low heat.

  • Once cooking is complete, let it cool completely and dust with plenty of powdered sugar.

If you want to reduce the sugar, you can sweeten with a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup

If leftover, the apple omelet can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days, wrapped in foil or in an airtight container. Before eating, it can be warmed in a pan or microwave for a few seconds.

If consuming it within the day, you can keep it covered at room temperature, in a cool, dry place.
