Christmas Pyramid

The Christmas pyramid is made up of many little cookies, quick to make and cute to present. In keeping with the season, cold and snow.

Enriched with a delicious chestnut jam, they are ideal as a dessert or simply as breakfast or a snack.
Chestnuts are rich in potassium, starch, and vitamin E. They are energizing. The sweet flavor of the jam allows you to use little sugar in the cookie dough. Of course, it can also be replaced with another jam.

  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 package chestnut jam
  • powdered sugar

Tools

  • 3 Cookie cutters round of different diameters
  • 1 Rolling pin
  • 1 Pastry board
  • 1 Bowl

Steps

Let’s start by grabbing a bowl, then add the ingredients listed above, except for the jam. Then, mix and knead until you get a solid and compact dough.
Next, roll out with the rolling pin until you get a sheet h. 0.6 inches.

After that, use the cutters to create 4 circles for each size.

Meanwhile, bring the oven to 356 degrees and bake them on a baking sheet, previously lined with parchment paper, for about 15 minutes.

Finally, let them cool for about 10 minutes, and in the center of each cookie, add a teaspoon of chestnut jam and create a pyramid starting from the largest disk to the smallest.

Make sure, for each layer, there are 2 circles of the same size.

Finish by generously dusting with powdered sugar.
