Fat-Free Oven-Roasted Chicken

The fat-free oven-roasted chicken is really simple to prepare. Everything depends on the cooking method.

In fact, with my method, the chicken’s fats released during cooking drip down, staying separate from the chicken. Thus, the meat cooks without frying in its own fat, remaining equally tender and tasty.

The cooking is very similar to that of an air fryer.

The chicken can be cooked whole or in pieces. I cooked it cut in half.

  • 1 whole chicken
  • to taste rosemary
  • to taste chives
  • to taste fine salt
  • 3 carrots

Steps for Preparing Fat-Free Chicken

To prepare the delicious fat-free chicken, we need the fantastic CHEFMADE oven pan equipped with a fat-reducing rack

  • Place the chicken cut in half or into pieces as desired, add spices such as rosemary, chives, and fine salt, and bake at 390°F (200°C), covering with aluminum foil for the first 20 minutes, then continue cooking for another 20 minutes without the foil until golden brown.

  • As you can see, the fats drip to the bottom.

  • After cooking is done, plate and serve hot… enjoy your meal!

Tips and Notes

The fat-free chicken can be stored in the fridge for two days. Before serving, I recommend reheating it in the oven at 320°F (160°C) for a few minutes.
