Ingredients for sandwich roll-ups
Sandwich roll-ups recipe
- 3 slices sandwich bread
- 3.5 oz smoked salmon
- 3 tbsp spreadable cheese
- 1/2 lemon
Tools
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Knife
- Plastic wrap
- 1 Rolling pin
Steps for sandwich roll-ups
To prepare the sandwich roll-ups, choose crustless white bread.
Lay the sandwich bread slices on a cutting board and gently flatten them with a rolling pin, this step makes them easier to roll up.
Mix the juice of half a lemon with the spreadable cheese and generously spread it on each slice.
Place the smoked salmon on top, distributing it evenly.
Gently roll each slice onto itself, obtaining a compact cylinder. Wrap the roll-ups in plastic wrap and store them in the refrigerator for at least an hour; this helps to compact them and makes them easier to slice.
Remove the wrap, cut the roll-ups into slices about 1.5 inches thick, arrange them on a serving platter, and the sandwich roll-ups are ready to be served.
Enjoy from Barbara!
Storage
Store the sandwich roll-ups wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge or in an airtight container for 1 to 2 days maximum.
I do not recommend freezing, as spreadable cheese and salmon tend to lose consistency and flavor after freezing.
