The sbrisolona without butter is undoubtedly one of the easiest and quickest desserts to prepare.
At the same time, it is a very appreciated dessert thanks to the filling, which in this case is peach jam, and its crunchy note given by the crumbly dough.
It is never missing from my children’s breakfast, especially when they are in a hurry, it really takes very little time. I usually prepare it in the evening after dinner for breakfast in the morning and as a snack to take to school.
It can be filled as desired, with jams, creams of all kinds, and the result is always excellent.
In my recipe, as in every dessert, I used type 1 flour, whole cane sugar, and seed oil that replaces butter. So it is healthy in every respect.

Ingredients for the Quick Sbrisolona Without Butter
- 2 1/2 cups type 1 flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup whole cane sugar
- 1/3 cup seed oil
- 1/2 packet baking powder
- 1/2 lemon zest
- 1 jar peach jam
- as needed chocolate chips
- 1 egg yolk

Steps for Preparing the Quick Sbrisolona Without Butter
To prepare the delicious quick sbrisolona without butter, we start by equipping ourselves with a bowl
then pour the type 1 flour or, for those who don’t have it, the type 00, the eggs, the whole cane sugar, the baking powder, the seed oil and the grated zest of half a lemon. Then we start mixing with a fork and finish by hand. We need to get coarse crumbs.
Line a baking pan Ø 10.2 inches with a hinge, previously lined with parchment paper and pour half of the dough, flattening it with your hands and forming a 0.2-inch-high edge. At this point, add the jam over the entire surface evenly and cover with the remaining crumbly dough.
Add the chocolate chips and bake at 356°F, static oven for about 30 minutes. When it has reached a golden color, remove from the oven, let it cool, and serve… enjoy your tasting!
Storage and Notes
The sbrisolona without butter keeps for three days in a cool and dry place.
